You can book to stay in the Lodge for 7, 14 or 21 nights, starting on a Friday. Rates vary throughout the year.

The Lodge is an unusually designed Finca style house located in the middle of Steamer Point Nature Reserve, a 24-acre cliff-top designated local nature reserve (LNR) that is situated between Highcliffe Castle and Friar’s Cliff on the Christchurch coastline. Guests can enjoy expanses of woodland and aquatic habitat that supports a wide variety of flora and fauna right on their doorstep, at the same time as appreciating the stunning clifftop sea views.
All rooms occupy the ground floor of the house. The Lodge comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, double and a twin bedroom, a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a colorful living room with double patio doors leading onto an expansive private garden with panoramic views towards the Isle of Wight across Christchurch Bay.
We allow 2 dogs at Steamer Point Lodge. The Lodge and its surroundings are perfect for walking and exploring with four-legged friends!
FACILITIES
The Lodge comfortably sleeps up to four people. The lounge has a Smart TV, Wi-Fi connection, double parking space, heating, and baby facilities, such as a travel cot, high-chair, and child friendly cutlery. Outside, garden furniture and deckchairs are provided.
All the usual home comforts can be found in the kitchen, which overlooks the south-facing sunny garden, these include an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, washing machine, fridge-freezer and a large range of cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
LOCATION
Steamer Point Lodge is located on its own private plot in beautiful Nature Reserve woodland next to a popular pathway that takes visitors and residents down to the wide and rugged Avon and Highcliffe beaches where coffee and other refreshments can be found at a number of pretty , independent cafes dotted along the seafront. Its nearest neighbour is the magnificent Grade I Listed late 18th Century Highcliffe Castle and beautiful grounds.
The bustling towns of Bournemouth and Christchurch are within close driving distance, nearby Hengistbury Head is essential for nature lovers, ramblers and cyclists. Meanwhile the New Forest National Park to the East is perfect for picnics, long walks and for spotting wild ponies, cattle and if very lucky deer.
